One of the best things you can do to improve yourselves is to travel. Seeing different cultures, places, peoples, and traditions make you see your own little corner of the world with a better perspective. I was lucky to travel and live in different countries starting young, and think it opened my mind enormously. Travel if you can: it's immensely rewarding.

Here are a few pictures and notes from some of the places I was lucky to see. They are arranged by themes rather than locations or dates, I thought that, in some cases, it would allow interesting comparisons. This is still a work in progress as it takes time to scan and prepare the photos.

At the end of the year 2002 I had the opportunity to travel around the planet, stopping at a few selected places on each continent.

From the wildlife in Southern Africa, to the temples of Cambodia, or from the rock paintings of Australia to the glaciers of Antarctica, it was a wonderful experience.
